Brussels (Belgium), Copenhagen (Denmark), April 16th 2010 - Zetes, the leading pan-European provider of solutions and services for the automatic identification of goods and people, announces it is reinforcing its Nordics team and is moving its operation in the Nordic Region to new premises in the Copenhagen city-centre.
Zetes is active in the Nordics since 2007 and within two years has successfully been developing its activities in this region. The company has been gaining recognition from the market for its high level auto-ID solutions. Zetes customers include The Co-op in Sweden and Norway, Volvo Cars and Reitan in Denmark. Principle sector expertise in the region includes manufacturing, transportation, retail and healthcare.
Alain Wirtz, CEO of Zetes comments: “We are happy to reinforce the Nordics team. This will enable us to continue Zetes’ growth in this region in line with our strategy of offering customers the best possible combination of local market knowledge, technical skills and support. The early successes seen in the Nordics verify that this approach is welcomed by local companies. At the same time, it allows us to strengthen our offering for multinational customers, who are operating in the Nordic countries.”
Zetes is a profitable pan-European organisation and takes a disciplined approach to expansion and acquisition. The corporate strategy is to operate a strong local base through subsidiary companies, offering clients expertise in technical implementation and maintenance services whilst continuing to deliver highly homogeneous solutions that meet the global project requirements of multinational clients. This structure allows Zetes to respond perfectly to the needs of both regional small businesses and multinationals looking for a supplier who can offer the advantage of a pan-European presence. In line with the company’s growth objectives, Zetes now has 14 locally managed operations across Europe.
