DPD Portugal, part of DPD group, Europe’s largest parcel delivery network, has had a strong presence in Portugal since 1997. Priding themselves on exceptional service quality they recently sought a solution which would help them overcome error prone and time consuming parcel sorting within their warehouse operations. Not only were they seeking greater efficiency but more critically they wanted to minimise potential service risks resulting from human error. After careful evaluation of best-fit solutions for both present and future needs, they selected the ZetesMedea warehouse execution solution to meet their requirements.

ZetesMedea Voice is a modular logistics execution solution designed to optimise warehouse operations. Equipped with a ring scanner and a voice terminal with a headset, DPD’s operators scan the parcel barcode and then the Voice system provides instructions on where to place the parcel for later distribution using ZetesChronos.
