Paris (France), 7 April 2026 – HEINEKEN, a leader in the French brewing industry, relies on Zetes and its ZetesAtlas industrial identification solution to meet its customers’ growing expectations for traceability and automation. Deployed across all the group's sites in France, this strategic partnership illustrates a common vision of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Industrial identificationZetesAtlas: an answer to the new traceability challenges

To keep pace with evolving food distribution regulations, HEINEKEN France adopted the ZetesAtlas industrial identification solution several years ago, in combination with Zetes automatic labelling systems, to ensure accurate traceability of products coming off its packaging lines. Every element, from inputs (caps, bottles) to finished products loaded onto pallets, is carefully tracked, with immediate data transmission to the company's information system (SAP).

Large-scale deployment to ensure performance

Appreciated for its fast deployment, the ZetesAtlas solution plays a key role in the identification and traceability of products on all HEINEKEN France sites. For more than 15 years, this partnership has evolved alongside the brewer’ growth, strengthening team capabilities and continually optimising the systems in place. Now, with more than 40 systems deployed, precise and compliant in-line identification contributes to optimum stock management and efficient logistics execution.

“With their innovative solutions and comprehensive support that includes preventive and curative maintenance, we constantly improve our ability to satisfy our customers’ needs and benefit from optimum operational availability,” says Mickaël Knoll, Maintenance Manager at HEINEKEN France.

Cutting-edge technologies for real-time visibility

With the integration of the MD4000 and MD6000 automatic marking systems and the ZetesAtlas software solution, HEINEKEN France continues to guarantee optimum product traceability. The MD4000 machines execute precise labelling of units of sale (packs and boxes), while the MD6000 machines label pallets. Connected to the SAP ERP system, ZetesAtlas gives the teams real-time visibility of the packaging line, right through to dispatch.

A lasting industrial partnership

HEINEKEN France and Zetes have built a long-term relationship beyond just deploying the technology; based on operational support and continuous improvement. This trusted relationship means that HEINEKEN France can now rely on dependable, open-ended solutions able to satisfy heightened requirements for traceability, compliance, and industrial performance.

“Our partnership with Zetes goes far beyond just procuring solutions. With their innovative solutions and comprehensive support that includes preventive and curative maintenance, we constantly improve our ability to satisfy our customers’ needs and benefit from optimum operational availability. This long-standing partnership is an essential lever to optimise our operations,” says Mickaël Knoll, Maintenance Manager at HEINEKEN France.
