With a workforce of approximately 700 employees, the company handles a high volume of valuable shipments each day and therefore required a reliable solution to guarantee shipping accuracy, ensure digital traceability, and enhance overall efficiency across its logistics processes.
Digital evidence and increased accuracy
Previously, manual verification processes carried the risk of human error and inefficiencies. With the implementation of the new solution, the verification of all box-level barcodes mounted on pallets for outbound dispatch is now fully automated. The system consists of a rotating platform station equipped with high-resolution cameras that capture and decode multiple barcodes simultaneously and instantly. This setup digitally records box-level data, along with a visual timestamp of each activity. If any identification issue arises, such as a missing or unreadable label, the system immediately flags it and provides operators with a real-time visual alert, pinpointing the specific box affected. All digital images are automatically stored in the system, ensuring optimal traceability aligned with each customer’s order data.
