Brussels (Belgium), London (United Kingdom) - 23 February 2016 - Zetes (Euronext Brussels: ZTS) has recently implemented its latest generation ZetesAthena In-Store Management solution to JD Williams, one of the UK’s largest fashion retailers. JD Williams selected the ZetesAthena In-Store Management solution to help improve stock auditing across its growing network of UK stores.
The JD Williams Group operates a growing chain of high street fashion retail outlets located across the UK. JD Williams utilises the ZetesAthena In-Store Management solution for wall to wall stock auditing, to ensure its assets can be accurately recorded for accounting purposes. The cycle counting application is also used in order to gain visibility of stock in stores at any given time, improving overall stock accuracy. The JD Williams management team has real-time access to immediate stock count results from any location, which are directly integrated with the company’s main ERP system.
ZetesAthena is a cloud-based in-store mobile management solution helping omni-channel retailers optimise stock and pricing processes centrally and consistently across individual store locations. It streamlines time-consuming inventory related tasks to provide real time transparency of stock availability within the store. The solution also helps eradicate the so-called ‘hidden zones’, which are the visibility gaps between the moment goods arrive in the store, and the moment they are sold.
Powered by the MCL™ Mobility Platform, ZetesAthena enables quick deployment and management of software applications and hardware with minimal ongoing management resource required. The MCL™ Mobility Platform is a cloud-based mobile enterprise application platform (MEAP) dedicated to supply chain operations. It allows organisations to develop, deploy, run and manage mobile applications, users and devices centrally and easily.
“As a growing retailer we were looking for an efficient solution that would give us real-time visibility of the counting processes in our stores, enabling us to improve our stock accuracy, . As a cloud-based solution, this is exactly what ZetesAthena offered us”, says Carlton Smith, IT Programme Manager at JD Williams. “Also, as ZetesAthena is a full in-store management solution, we are able to scale our use of the software, enabling us to manage other retail processes in the future”.
