Brussels, Prague, 20 June 2012 - Zetes (Euronext Brussels: ZTS), the European leader in automatic identification solutions and services for goods and people today announced it is acquiring the company InCAPTIO s.r.o., one of the Czech Republic’s most established providers of Auto-ID solutions for the supply chain. This acquisition enables Zetes to satisfy the requirement from multinational customers seeking coverage within the Czech and Slovak market.
Alain Wirtz, CEO of the Zetes Group, comments: “With InCAPTIO Zetes has acquired a company with an excellent reputation and whose core activities are closely aligned to our business. Our new team in Prague has a wide experience in regional mobility projects for large multinational customers, including in Russia by its Russian speaking employees. This will help us roll out the Zetes’ Solutions in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, InCAPTIO has an important portfolio of customers in the large-scale car manufacturer sector. The company has a significant growth potential and Zetes will help it to become a very successful story”.
The financial investment by Zetes will enable the company to revitalise its growth strategy. “By joining our Group, InCAPTIO can integrate the range of Zetes solutions into its portfolio and expand its offering substantially. The company can also benefit from the synergies created for its major international accounts and take advantage of expertise available through our 14 other European subsidiaries.”, adds Alain Wirtz. InCAPTIO currently generates a turnover of approximately 2 million euro. The company employs 15 people with excellent project management capabilities. The acquisition will have no significant impact on Zetes’ balance sheet structure.
