In 2023, our Czech partner, JCEE, deployed the GoPal solution at Schaeffler's plant in Svitavy, Czech Republic.
The GoPal solution consists of a fleet of GoPal E24W AMRs, which have automated packaging loading and pallet removal.
The AMRs deliver packaging material to the packaging lines and at the same time independently deliver finished pallets with products to the automatic strapping line.
The GoControl FMS reacts in real time to the status of the strapping line and - if full - selects alternative target positions - all without operator intervention. Navigation is carried out safely thanks to sophisticated sensors and radars, which enable smooth operation even in a busy environment with people and handling equipment.
Needless to say, deploying the GoPal solution has increased safety, performance and efficiency of internal logistics at Schaeffler's plant.
