How does it work?
- Visidot is a patented off-the-shelf solution
- Visido combines all hardware units (capture devices, lighting elements and others) with state-of-the-art software
- It has an easy interface to WMS/ERP, conveyors, shrink-wrap machines and printer applicators
- It ensures complete product traceability via real-time web-based management and reporting
A typical Visidot-optimised process
- Assets labeled with barcode (1D), Data Matrix (2D) or other industry standard tags pass through a Visidot gate
- Image capture is initiated using one or more capture devices
- Hundreds of tags are simultaneously captured with a single pass
- Captured images are quickly processed and decoded
- All decoded data is merged, eliminating duplicate data from overlapping captures and applying highly granular, user-specified data filters
- Captured results are delivered in the form of XML files
- The decoded data is automatically compared to the shipping order (or any other defined business rule)
- Operators are given real-time alerts about any discrepancies, along with visual guidance for corrective action
- Data is stored for reports and statistics purposes. Images are archived for visual proof of delivery and asset conditions.
