Dear Reader,
We all know that accuracy, productivity and profitability are key differentiators within the supply chain world. However, the ways to leverage on these differentiators to gain competitive advantage change over time. Over the summer Zetes has kept looking for new ways to innovate and optimise its solutions, to make sure you benefit even more from your valuable investments.
For example: by helping you to get more out of your SAP solution, as did L’Oréal thanks to voice recognition technology and Sun Chemical with Print & Apply. Integrating various technologies is another approach: for Hendersons the combination of voice with scanning and Proof of Delivery has lead to full complete traceability of their supply chain. Also for mobile workers in the field it will create a new range of possibilities, as it already does for the delivery drivers of TNT and Torrestir. As for the port of Hamburg, truck mounted terminals combined with RFID has allowed them to put in place a highly automated transshipment system.
On the People ID side we take you once again to Côte d’Ivoire, crossing borders with a unique and highly secured biometric visa.
I hope you will enjoy reading this Zetes Globe – may it inspire you too with innovative ideas to optimise your supply chain.
